- 1978 as a college junior I auditioned for a European tour in which Nelson Padgett, former artist with Yamaha preformed with the NCSA orchestra in 1982. He played the Beethoven Piano Concerto in C major.
- Studied with William Stone MM Eastman School of Music at Campbell University in which I gave a graduate piano recital In which I recited Beethoven piano Sonata in f minor, and the Bach Italian Concerto in completing my BME Degree
